Dim Sum Misadventure #3: Siew Mai

Just realised that I left this one out from my “Dim Sum Misadventure” series… So here goes…

Siew Mai, a yummy little steamed succulent morsels of pork and most commonly mixed with chopped lard, shrimp, lobster, fresh scallops, crabmeat and other imaginable seafood produce.

Basic ingredients include fresh pork (dark meat for better flavour), lard (lots of it), egg white, chopped waterchestnuts (for that crunch) and spring onions (for colour and aroma). No recipes this time round as I kinda misplaced it. Oops!
