Leo’s travel journal and other juicy bits…

So many things happening while I was in Munich.

1. The Malaysian Opposition took hold of 4 states and denied the ruling coalition of their two-thirds majority in parliament – for the first time in about 30 years. I guess the people have really made their voice heard! And I learnt that Hannah Yeoh won! Brava!
2. New York Governor Eliot Spitzer revealed that he was involved in an international prostitution ring.
3. Space shuttle Endeavor headed up to the international space station.
4. Spring sets in on this part of Europe.
5. I finished reading the absolutely sinister book – Grostesque by Natsuo Kirino

It was nice and sunny and I spent most of yesterday at the old part of town, sipping on coffee and submergging myself in the book.

Today, weather doesn’t look too good as the weather system that wrecked havoc in UK for much of Sunday and Monday is heading toward central Europe.

I will be heading for Frankfurt in a while and hope the weather there will be much kinder.

How am I holding up? Well technically it’s only been a week since I left Kuala Lumpur so I guess I’m doing alright. Check back with me again in a week.

Ciao for now and more updates soon.
